Sell Beats Online

Upload your beats, choose your license options and make them available to artists looking for their next track.

No marketplace subscription. Your own license prices.

Made by youSold through UNDERBPM

One beat. Different ways to license it.

From the first preview to the purchased files, give artists a clear path to using your music.

Why sell beats online?

Artists are always looking for instrumentals that fit a voice, a story or a new release. An online catalogue keeps your music available around the clock, even when you are in a session or away from your studio.

One beat can support different projects through different license options. A beat selling platform brings the preview, price, payment and delivery into one place, so every sale does not need a separate conversation, invoice and file transfer.

How selling beats on UNDERBPM works

01

1. Create your producer profile

Register as a beatmaker and build your public studio. Add your producer name, artwork and a bio so artists can see who made the music. Complete Stripe Connect onboarding to set up your payout account.

02

2. Upload your beat

Give your beat a title, add artwork, and enter its BPM and key. Choose a genre and relevant tags, then attach your audio and license files. Clear metadata helps artists browse your sound; a useful preview lets them hear it before choosing a license.

03

3. Set your licenses and prices

Choose which options to offer: MP3, WAV, STEMS / Trackout and Exclusive. Set the price for each available license and attach the corresponding files. You decide how your catalogue is priced, rather than fitting every instrumental into one price tier.

04

4. Your beat goes live

Publish your beat to make it available in the marketplace and on your public studio page. Artists can open the beat, listen to its preview, compare the available licenses and add their choice to the cart. You can also share the beat page directly.

05

5. Get paid when an artist buys

Artists pay through Stripe checkout. Completed purchases are recorded with the selected license and available downloads. Seller payments use your connected Stripe account; payout availability and timing depend on your account status and Stripe’s payout schedule.

Sell your beat with the right license

Give artists a choice that matches the files and usage rights they need.

MP3

A straightforward starting point

Offer an MP3 file under a non-exclusive license. Artists can choose an accessible option for a release while you keep the beat available to other buyers.

WAV

Full-quality audio

Offer a WAV file for artists who want an uncompressed version. Its price and usage terms are shown alongside the other available licenses.

STEMS

More control in the mix

The Trackout option supplies the stem files you attach. Separate parts give artists and engineers more flexibility when balancing the beat around a vocal.

EXCLUSIVE

One final sale

An Exclusive purchase marks the beat as sold exclusively and removes it from public sale. Previously purchased non-exclusive licenses remain valid.

Compare usage rights and included files in the Beat Licensing Guide.

For partners

Get your beats heard on YouTube

For approved partners, UNDERBPM automatically creates a video from your beat’s artwork and audio and uploads it to YouTube for review. An administrator then publishes it publicly on the UNDERBPM channel.

The public video promotes your beat on YouTube, with a link in the description that takes artists straight to its marketplace page to listen, choose a license and buy.

Optional paid service

Protect the beats you publish

Beat Protection helps you look for potential uses of your beats on YouTube and check matches against license records. Review suspicious results in your dashboard before deciding what to do next.

It is a monitoring and review tool, not Content ID or automatic copyright enforcement. Protection is optional and has its own subscription, separate from listing beats in the marketplace.

Selling beats: your questions answered

How do I start selling beats online?

Create a beatmaker account, set up your producer profile and complete Stripe Connect onboarding for payouts. Upload a beat with artwork, audio and metadata, choose its license options and prices, then publish it. Your beat page gives artists a preview and a route to checkout.

Can I sell the same beat more than once?

Yes. Non-exclusive licenses let more than one artist license the same beat under the applicable terms. You can keep selling those options until an Exclusive purchase closes the beat to further public sales. Licenses purchased before that sale remain valid.

What files can I sell?

You can attach MP3 and WAV audio and a Trackout / STEMS package to the relevant license options. Offer only the formats you have prepared, and make sure each enabled license includes the files its buyer expects.

Can I set my own prices?

Yes. You set prices for the license options you enable on each beat. MP3, WAV, Trackout and Exclusive can have different prices, so artists can choose the available format and rights that suit their project.

How do I get paid?

UNDERBPM uses Stripe for checkout and connected producer accounts for seller payments. Complete the payout onboarding and any account verification Stripe requires. Bank payout timing depends on your connected account and Stripe’s schedule; a completed purchase does not mean an instant bank deposit.

What happens when someone buys an Exclusive license?

The beat is marked as sold exclusively and removed from public sale. Earlier non-exclusive licenses stay valid for the artists who already purchased them. Review the Beat Licensing Guide for the rights attached to each option before offering an Exclusive license.

Does UNDERBPM charge producers?

No. Creating a producer account and listing beats does not require a subscription. The buyer pays a 15% service fee on top of your price, which covers Stripe processing fees and the operation of UNDERBPM. You receive 100% of the price you set for your beat license, with no fees deducted from your earnings. Beat Protection is an optional additional service you can try if you wish.
