Before you buy

Can I use the beat on Spotify?

Yes, if your chosen license permits distribution of your song. Check stream limits and monetization rights before buying; a free preview is not a release license.

Can I monetize YouTube?

Only if the selected license allows monetization. Check video limits too. Permission to monetize is separate from permission to register Content ID; do not register the beat unless your agreement expressly allows it.

Can I use it for TikTok?

Check whether the selected license covers social media and video use. Monetized posts, advertising and brand campaigns may need additional permission. Ask the producer before buying if your intended use is unclear.

Can I use it in a music video?

If the selected license permits it, within its video and monetization limits. Review the terms for this beat before filming or releasing your video.

Can I use it commercially?

Only within the commercial rights granted by the selected license. MP3, WAV and stems describe files, not unlimited permissions. Check monetization and usage limits; ask the producer about uses outside those terms.

Can multiple artists buy the same beat?

Yes. Non-exclusive licenses allow different buyers to use the same beat under their own agreements. Each buyer needs a license; your purchase does not prevent other artists from releasing their songs.

What happens after an exclusive sale?

The beat is removed from public sale and new purchases are disabled. Earlier non-exclusive licenses remain valid under their terms. Exclusive does not automatically transfer every copyright or clear third-party samples.

Are samples cleared?

Do not assume they are. Sample clearance is not guaranteed unless explicitly confirmed in writing. Ask the producer about third-party samples and any additional permissions needed for your planned release before purchasing.

Buying beats

How do I buy a beat on UNDERBPM?+

Open a beat, choose the license type that fits your use case, add it to cart, and complete checkout. After payment, the purchase is saved to your account with the license details.

Where do I get the files after payment?+

Downloads appear after checkout, remain tied to your account purchase history, and are also sent to your email together with the license. If a seller attached MP3, WAV, trackout, or other files for that license, those files are included with your order.

What license should I choose?+

Choose MP3 or WAV for basic releases, trackout when you need stems for mixing, and exclusive when you want the beat removed from public sale. Always check the license page before releasing music commercially.

What happens when I buy an exclusive license?+

Exclusive purchases mark the beat as sold exclusively and remove it from public listing. Earlier non-exclusive licenses remain valid for buyers who purchased before the exclusive sale.

Payments and payouts

How are payments processed?+

Payments are processed through Stripe. UNDERBPM records the order, updates the producer sale, and keeps purchase information available in the platform.

Can I get a refund?+

Digital beat sales are generally final. Refunds may be reviewed for duplicate payments, technical errors, or fraudulent transactions. Contact support with your email, order ID, and beat title.

How do producers receive money?+

Buyers pay via Stripe. Producers receive seller payments through their connected Stripe account. Complete Stripe Connect onboarding; bank payout timing depends on account eligibility and Stripe’s schedule. UnderBPM charges 0% seller commission. Buyers pay a separate 15% service fee for individual beats or 25% for Beat Packs. A discount promo code from the beatmaker is funded from the platform fee and does not reduce producer proceeds; Stripe processing and payout terms apply.

Can I message a producer before buying?+

Yes. Use Messages from a producer profile or beat page to ask about a beat, custom work, files, or licensing details before purchase.

What if I need a custom beat?+

Use Custom Orders to post a brief or request work directly from a producer. Producers can send offers, and payment can be handled in clear milestones.

What is Beat Protection?+

Beat Protection helps producers monitor possible uses of their beats on YouTube, check license status, and review suspicious matches manually.

Who do I contact if something goes wrong?+

Use the Contact page or email support@underbpm.com. Include your account email, order ID, beat link, and a short description of the issue.
